The Way to Create a Classy Tequila Shot Place Setting

Tequila may not necessarily have a classy standing, but this pretty tequila shot place setting for a wedding or other special event is all about to change that once and for all! All it requires is a little imagination to do this thought the ideal way. Have a peek in the appearance we designed below and joyful #NationalTequilaDay!

Sometimes the easiest of tablescapes are the prettiest, which explains why we decided to go with an easy, natural color palette and nominal accessories around the table.

We personally like the idea of having the tequila shot necessities on a different long and skinny plate positioned over the main dining plate — that way, guests may quickly take their tequila shot after ingestion if they choose accordingly. Simply put a mini bottle of patron, a personalized shot glass to coordinate with your wedding theme, a lime wedge, and a bit of salt in a row in your long lanky plate. And do not forget to add a twine bow to the jar of patron for an extra special look.

You might also add a sugar or salt rim to your shot glass for a little extra flavor. Simply dip the rim of your own shot glass into water and then into salt or sugar so that it sticks well. We know that traditionally a salt rim goes with tequila, but we couldn’t help but add a little dash of sweet. After all, who could say no to a sugar rim?

To keep your table setting looking easy, put a placemat as well as utensils, a napkin, and a dining plate under your tequila shooter setting. And don’t forget about the drinkware too which will come in hand for margaritas and other yummy cocktails during the evening. Let guests know that you’ll all be taking a shot of tequila collectively or let them shoot their shot at any point in the nighttime. Guests can even spend the shot glass along with mini bottle of patron house as a favor if they would like to wait.

Do you intend on getting your wedding guests take a shot together? What do you think about this idea for producing a class look? Please feel free to leave your ideas below — we would love to hear from you!
