Flower Bars: 3 Ways to Incorporate the Most Recent Wedding Trend at Your Event

For your bride-to-be who is mad about florals, we couldn’t think of a sweeter idea than just like a flower bar in her wedding shower or wedding. Therefore, what’s a flower bar you ask? We describe a blossom bar trend as a channel where numerous flowers are displayed for guests to select and create their own jobs.   It’s a hot new trend that’s not only a excellent way to get guests interacting together, but also makes a fun and unique favor. There are loads of fun ways to do this thought, but we have decided to share our favorite three. Take a look at some of our best tips for establishing a flower bar and three of our favorite concepts for this new trend.

Tips

  • When picking flowers for the pub, we recommend moving off the theme or colour scheme of your event. Find a good flower market ahead of time and let them know what kind and how many flowers you want. (Side note: we recommend picking flowers which don’t have thorns.)
  • On the afternoon before the event, clean and trim the stems of each flower. It’s ideal to trim the stems at an angle, allowing more water to shoot in. If you accidently bend a stem, be sure to cut that part off. Otherwise, no water will require in at all. You’ll also need to cut any branches or leaves off the stems for a much cleaner appearance. Keep in lukewarm water with flower food immediately.
  • On the day of the event, fill vases along with other flower holders your visitors will probably be taking home approximately 3/4 with lukewarm water and flower food. Set up all of the flowers in 1 part of your place using buckets that , are filled about 3/4 way with lukewarm water. Bear in mind, you might choose to install according to the typesize, or color of flowers, but feel free to get creative! And don’t forget to include any needed extras in your station like portion of flower food, scissors, floral tape, tags, or labels.

Now you know the basics, let us take a look at the three theories!

1) Flowers in antiques

Let guests put together their own bouquets by supplying them with a variety of flowers and vases. You might even need to opt for a variety of fountains, fountains, or flowery wrap — which way your guests may pick their favourite look. Put on a shelving or table and let guests get to making their own creations at their own convenience.

2) DIY Flower Crowns

Another way to use a flower bar at your bridal shower would be to include supplies for guests to earn blossom crowns. Again, set your flowers in buckets for simple accessibility, and include numerous scissors and cable. You may also need to add florist ribbon, tape, or other decorative items. And because this undertaking requires a little more effort from your guests, consider supplying a seating area too for their own convenience.

3) Petal Toss

Having a wedding throw is a fun additional to your big day, and we love the idea of tweaking the flower bar concept to a”petal toss” bar. After the exact same basic concept, set up a station where guests can select their favourite petals to adhere in a newspaper cone, tote, or jar. (We recommend looking into freeze dried petals, which won’t wilt.) They will have so much fun tossing their mix of petals as you make your grand departure! Along with a bonus — that makes for magnificent photos.

What do you think about the fun thought? Which of those three concepts would be your favorite?
