Picture this — it has been a fun but hectic evening of dance, taking photographs, and running around your wedding venue in an attempt to mingle with your wedding guests. Have you gotten the chance to eat? Perhaps not. After all, we’ve heard dozens of stories about the bride and groom being so busy in their wedding day, they don’t always get the time they need to settle back and enjoy a meal. That is where the late night snack channel comes in.
The tendency
A popular new wedding trend, a late night snack channel is a set up of bite-sized treats such as cupcakes and popcorn. The objective of the station? To fill any grumbling stomachs naturally! The perfect time to bring your snack channel is an hour or so prior to the wedding celebrations wrap up. With this time, not only are the bride and groom certain to become hungry but also the wedding guests too — especially after spending some time around the dance floor! We can just imagine the smiles along with your guest’s faces as the snacks enter the room. And another great thing about a late night snack bar? It is a fun way to add to bring a little bit of character to your wedding, in addition to dress up your favorite foods! Based upon your taste, this trend can be done on the cheap (think popcorn and potato chips) or on the fancier side (like macarons and catered hot foods). You will find endless menu choices for your late night snack station, but here are some of our favorite ideas.

The set up
If it comes to setting up your snack bar, it all depends on the type of food that you’ve decided to include. However, of course, we’ve got some favorites to urge. Apothecary jars, mason jars, cake stands, plates, baskets, platters, and bowls make great alternatives for displaying your own snacks. Feel free to mix up different shapes and sizes (like taller pieces to make visual interest), but keep the colour scheme and materials consistent. This way, your display is cohesive rather than chaotic. We also love the idea of labeling each snack. Simply write out the title of each on a location card and stick on your favorite place card holders for a pretty look. You will also need the appropriate packaging for every bite, which will be particularly helpful for guests who want to take their snacks on-the-go. We recommend packaging such as our customized cake slice boxes (not only for cake!) , personalized goodie bags, or even personalized gift bags with a handle. Also, don’t forget the personalized napkins!
So what exactly do you think? Will you be needing a late night snack station in your own wedding? What kind of snack would you function?
