Valentine's Day Wedding

How-To Pull Away a Non-Cheesy Valentine’s Day Wedding

To some, a Valentine’s Day wedding might appear cheesy and unoriginal. And while we’re all entitled to our view on the subject, we absolutely think there are lots of beautiful, first, and non-cheesy ways to marry on February 14th. By including subtle hints from the holiday  in your wedding decor, provides, eats, and favors, it’s easy to make your fantasy wedding come to life.

Hints of Romance

You don’t have to hit them over the head with a Valentine’s Day theme. Rather, interject hints during your event to subtly get the point across. For instance,”XOXO” represents hugs and kisses making it Valentine’s Day, although not over-the-top cheesy. Another fun idea is to add Cupid’s bow & arrow which is both romantic and subtle.

Color Scheme

If you are attempting to avoid over-the-top, then opt for elegant colors like silver and gold together with subtle touches of pink and red. Colours of peach, maroon, and purple also make amorous color options. This way, you can still keep the appearance and texture of Valentine’s Day while keeping things classy and refined.

Hidden Stone

Like romantic expressions, sweet details matter and therefore are most appreciated when it is unexpected. Hide little Valentine’s Day hints during your wedding utilizing non-traditional methods as a fun way to pay tribute to the holiday. By paying attention to the tiniest of details, delivered at the most unexpected of ways, guests are certain to notice the Valentine’s Day touches without being overrun by them. (Psst, see how another Cupid’s arrow snuck into the decor below?)

“Valentines Gifts” For The Guests

Locating the perfect gift for your love always looks like a big portion of Valentine’s day and when it comes to weddings, we say gifting your guests with a favor is a must. Rather than opting for favors you might expect at a Valentine’s Day event such as chocolates or roses, we say give your gifts something unique with just a hint of love. Items like bottle openers, soap, lip balm, and drinkware that have personal touches are just some of our favorite ideas.

So let’s — how to you plan to execute your Valentine’s Day marriage?
