It is National Donut Day and with this in mind we chose a DIY motivated by one of our favourite treats was in order. Life is so much sweeter when donuts are concerned and we had so much fun making these DIY donut coasters! Plus, they absolutely pair with our donut birthday party collection! Here Is What you’ll need:
- Round bamboo coasters
- Paint
- Paint brushes
We chose to create our first coat of paint tan. (The same shade as a fresh-baked donut! ) ) Following your first coat of tan paint has dried, paint 1-3 coats of your favourite color glaze on the coaster. Don’t forget to leave a ring at the center (we made ours white) and a rim of tan paint along the borders. Let your glaze dry and paint some interesting sprinkles. So easy!
