And with the launch of our newest Bottoms Up Bottle Straws (tall enough to fit inside your normal wine or champagne bottle), we understood it was the perfect opportunity to generate a giftable, photo-worthy giant glitter champagne bottle! Great as a present, or even a decorative bit, these glitter bottles are so simple to make. Have a look at the simple steps below to make your own!
Here’s what you will want:
- Bottle straw
- Personalized label
- Champagne jar of your choice (we suggest one with a gold foil top)
- Gold glitter
- Mod Podge
- Paintbrush
- Clear acrylic coating
- Ribbon
Directions:
- Insert the personalized label to the jar.
- Insert Mod Podge all around the bottle, avoiding the label and gold foil top.
- Sprinkle with gold glitter or roll the bottle in glitter and let sit for a couple of minutes. Do this over a disposable tablecloth or cardboard for simple cleanup.
- Spray clean oil coating in addition to the glittered jar to help avoid the glitter coming off. Remember to do this within a tablecloth or cardboard.
- To finish the look, tie a bottle straw into the side of the glittered bottle.
