Drunken Strawberry Recipe: Rum-Soaked Strawberries Coated in White Chocolate

The ideal treat for a bachelorette party, these rum-soaked strawberries coated in chocolate are motivated by one of our favorite beverages –the strawberry daiquiri. We discovered this tasty recipe over at Frosting and a Smile and are so excited to re-share what we’re calling drunken strawberries! Perfectly paired with all our Drunk in Love collection, and only in time to get #NationalDaiquiriDay (July 19th! ) ) It’s time to try out this yummy treat for yourself!

Here Is What you’ll need:

  • 1 1/4 cup white rum
  • 1 pack strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3/4 cup triple sec
  • White chocolate candy melts
  • Personalized square favor box
  • Jar

Blend rum, triple sec and lime juice in a mason jar and stir fry. Stick as many strawberries as will fit in the jar, making sure the berries are fully covered in liquor. (Insert extra rum if you want more liquor to pay the berries.) Simply let them soak for 24 hours. When it’s time to take the strawberries out, pour them through a strainer and pat the strawberries dry. Then melt your white chocolate candy melts according to its packing instructions. After your white cholate is melted, simply dip your strawberries in and let the chocolate harden. You are all set! Enjoy on the spot or bundle within our Drunk in Love prefer boxes for a candy favor!

Do you plan on testing this recipe out for your bridal shower? How are you celebrating #NationalDaiquiriDay?
