Check out our 5 favourite 2016 wedding trends (so far) and see if you might bring one of these to life at your wedding!
His & Hers Cocktails
We love the idea of the wedding couple sharing with their favourite beverages, or creating drink recipes just for the wedding. Just because you are husband and wife, doesn’t mean you’ve got the same flavor that’s exactly why we think that it’s such a fantastic idea to share unique tastes. The bride and groom can even create their own style for their drink! Label it on the cocktail menu as His and Hers and you’re all set.
Little Weddings & Elopements
While big weddings are most definitely fun, there’s just something so romantic about a small wedding or elopement. After all, when it comes down to it, the day is about you and your significant other. As long as you have each other, the day is bound to be perfect! Plus, a smaller wedding permits you to spend additional time with any of those couple guests, traveling to a destination, or invest additional money on a honeymoon. Trust uswhile we’re for large weddings, we promise you will not be disappointed with something smaller.
Pantone
Pantone has predicted the color, or instead colours, of the year — Rose Quartz and Serenity — and we’re definitely on board with their selections! Pink and blue might seem like a sudden mix, but just look how beautiful they’re together! The dusty, muted colors are soft and intimate and strangely come together to create the perfect match.
Naked Cakes
Naked cakes aren’t just new to 2016, but bakers are taking these dreamy desserts to new heights! We can not help but respect the easy magnificence of those cakes that are nude. Plus, fresh flowers on cakes never looked prettier. Who would have thought cakes didn’t require frosting?
Sleeved Wedding Gowns
The times of constantly yanking a strapless dress are gone short sleeves, long sleeves, all sleeves are in! Not merely is this style a bit much easier to wear, it is also a means to flaunt more lace information, more beading, and more feel. The style may also be just as small or not-so-modest as you enjoy.
