Christmas lights are a certain way to get you into the spirit for the holidayseason, and this year we chose to get crafty with ours. To pair with all our pink and aqua Christmas celebration, we decided to spruce up clear Christmas lights with the colors of our choice!
These lights were really easy to create and they turned out just perfect as decoration at our party! To discover how to create you have, have a look at the simple steps below.
Here Is What you will need:
- String of Christmas lights with large, clear bulbs
- Painters tape
- Paint (we used Art Minds brand paint because it enables for easy dipping)
- Spray paint (optional)
Getting ready to paint the big bulbs, we added painters tape around the top. (The piece which pops this large bulbs back in place on the series.) Hold the tape with your thumb and index finger, and then dip the entire bulb to the bottle of paint. Then hold the bulb above the paint, allowing the excess drip off. Once most of the excess paint has dripped off, allow the bulbs dry. The tape made an excellent stand for the drying process!
If you decide to paint your cable, tape off the little light bulbs . Subsequently spray and let dry. Once the string and large bulbs are totally dry, pop up the large bulbs back onto the series. That’s it!
